    Default High quality 07 worldmap

Been trying to use SPS to walk around lately and ive realised it sucks because the map on 07 looks different from the files that come with SPS (the SPS ones seem slightly faded) I wondered if there was a way to extract the worldmap from the source of a private server (P06?) instead of walking around screenshotting every map point you need to walk as this gets really tedius. The surface map is too small/low quality and it doesnt work as well.

Sadly, no, as Sjoekeloe said, making custom maps work best

Well actually if you could read the source of a p server and get the minimap map would be great. But it still baffles me how people don't even attempt other walking methods since the minimap offset is quite annoying for something like SPS.

you can just use TPA walk DTM walk bitmap walk I don't know it doesn't matter
you can even just make mouse click
don't have to use SPS it is just an option maybe sometimes not the best

I attempted to make a minimap SPS map using photoshop, but the whole Runescape Compass Angle thing kind of ruined it.

But I do have to agree, SPS OSR gets a lot less reliable as it walks greater distances, and when it has to walk near areas where there is text on the map it's using.

Is the minimap offset different than it was in 07?

I agree. I have never (except to learn it when it was released) used SPS.

I still prefer DDTM's with autocolored subpoints. I'd say use SPS with a backup of DDTM's. I simply just use DDTM's because if it's perfect you don't need a backup.
I had a script walk from Varrock center to the East Bank, then to the wildy, over the ditch out to the bone yard to collect big bones. I used DDTM's and DTM's for most of the walking.
Made about 300k an hour when I was using it. Never failed walking ever.

Can you show me an an example of a good DDTM? I read the tuts but never could get them to work reliably, how do I get it to work after logging in/out, like what makes it perfect so it runs?

At OP, I use SPS for walking and it works fine for me most of the time, it works well enough from A --> B

my waterfiend script uses a DDTM with autocolor as an anchor point.

I think most walking methods will work, all except SPS, its the buggiest and least accurate at the moment.. I made a custom map while the game in 07 is set north, it kinda of works.
