Default Before freaking out because client keeps loading EOC Read this!!

07RS not running on Smartv8 and instead displaying EOC is a basic issue and with the recent influx of new players, including myself, using SIMBA with practically no background knowledge, I figured I could try and contribute to the community.

SRL updated (yesterday I believe), and thus the files that we downloaded to enable SMARTv8 to run on OSRS are technically "Outdated".

Basic Steps for reverting SMARTv8 loadup from EOC -----> 07Scape:

    Step 1:
Go into Simba as a precautionary measure and manually click update in the SRL, SPS, and Extension areas. While this probably doesn't resolve the issue at hand, better to air on the side of caution.

    Step 2:
Go back to http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=97599 and scroll down to the bottom of the original post. The three files listed as downloads need to replace the older files we have since they are not brought up to current SRL updates. The files: login, globals, SmartParams.

    Step 3: Replacement
Right-click | save-link-as the login file. we are saving it to C://Simba/Includes/SRL/SRL/core.
Replace the older file that was login by KEEPING THE SAME NAME and saving. when asking to replace, click yes.

    3B:
Rinse and repeat by doing the same thing with globals. keep the same name for that file as well.

    3C:
Now right-click | save-link-as SmartParams and send it to C://Simba/Includes/SRL/SRL/misc. Replace that file as well.

    Step 4:
Exit Simba if you are currently running it. Now open it up with a program you plan on running. If it runs smoothly, Mission Accomplished.

*Credit to sahibjs for a precaution for the future: Keep a copy of SmartParams, login, and globals on your computer in another area. This will make it easier it locate and reinstall if you ever want to tackle this issue again.

Thanks for reading and let me know if it works out for you .

I would also reccomend simply keeping a copy of SmartParams and login on your computer, so when SRL automatically updates you don't have to go looking through the forums and finding them again.

    Nice post btw (:
